My friend gave me a great idea on my last post that I should babysit to raise money for the orphanage that is in need. Well I want to expand on that. The idea that I have (still very much in the works, it came to me about 10 minutes ago) is to organize a night where I'll get all my friends together and we'll go out and babysit for families from the church and community around the triangle. Instead of us getting paid, the families will send a check for the same amount that they would have paid their babysitter to Crosspoint of India (the orphanage).
What do you think?
Babysitters out there- would you be willing to donate one evening of working to this great group?
Parents- would you like to go out on a date for a good cause?
I haven't even begun to try to work out the details, I'm just trying to gather interest and see if this is something that could be a good way to raise some money for this wonderful organization. I'm thinking that it won't be until mid-October or even into November.
