Valentine's Day

Monday 2-14-11

I was given three carnations on Valentine's Day- one from the random worker at Lenior and two from the sweet girls that I babysat for the night. And since I don't own a vase, the flowers were put in a Sierra Mist bottle haha!

Apparently the most exciting thing I did this day was to wash my jeans while babysitting.... I don't know what this says about my life....

Sunday 2-6-11

Sunday was not a stressful day, but a busy day. I got up and went to church and played with my 1 year olds there and then I went and babysat for a small group that I've started sitting for and then I went and babysat for another small group's Superbowl party. It was  a little bit of a crazy day!! But I loved every minute of it! This is what I do, I love kids. There is nothing that I love more than tickling and wrestling with a bunch of little kids. Even though I was worn out and by the end of the night, I was loosing my voice, and apparently I'm getting old, cause my back was starting to hurt from picking up so many kids, I loved every second that I was with all these precious crazy children!!!

I didn't take any pictures though haha. 

So instead, I have a picture of my snack/dinner when I returned, completely exhausted to my dorm. 

Animals

Thursday 9-30-10

 

H loves to play with his animals. He brought them up to the couch one by one and lined them up.I'm also teaching him the names of the animals in Hindi, which is so cute- he's learned elephant (hathi), cow (guy), lion (sher), and monkey (bandar). His favorite is "guy," he calls everything "guy."

Why I love babysitting

Sunday 9-19-10

You're never too big to play dress up!! I love when I get to watch little boys, especially since most of the people I babysit for have little girls. But, every Sunday night my friend, Elise, and I babysit for a small group in the church with mainly little boys. So much fun! They love the superhero dress up! And they love it when we wear the masks haha. oh and the awkward face was me trying to make an intense Batman face as directed by one of the little boys but also laughing at Elise who was laughing at me and it just ended up so awkward.

Bubbles

Saturday 9-18-10

Someone has recently learned how to blow bubbles. I got to spend the afternoon with my favorite girls again. So fun! A tried to blow bubbles too, but ended up mainly just spitting haha. She'll learn soon.

Thursday 9-16-10

I spent Thursday afternoon with H again. He LOVES to terrorize their dog, Sam. Here they're playing tug of war with an old blanket- too cute!

My Favorite Girls

Tuesday 9-14-10

Tuesday night I got to hang out with the Greear girls for a little while, Baby A is missing from this picture- he was already in bed. I love these girls so much! Also, K gave me my first silly band- my life is now complete!!

Bored

5 of my 7 suitemates, including my roommate, are gone for the weekend, as well as most of my friends. Instead of using this time by myself to be productive and study, I'm going to blog and watch friends. Also, I'm going to try posting one day at a time, so that they go in better order. Sorry, Jessie, this is going to clog up your google reader a little bit haha.

Friday 

More H. I really love this little boy and you will be seeing lots of pictures of him because I'll be watching him a lot. I babysat him on Saturday night. Here he is eating about the only thing that he will- macaroni and cheese. After dinner, we went to Local Yogurt and had some yummy ice cream! It's so cute when he eats ice cream. He'll take a scoop of it, but its like he's not expecting it to be cold and when he bites into it he makes this face like he's in pain (which he might be I guess, from the cold) or like it tastes nasty. He's way too adorable!!
