Oh, Davis Library, how I've missed you!! 

Ok, that's a stretch. I have so far been able to avoid going to Davis, except once to do homework with a group from one of my classes.  But, on Monday, I braved those rickety, terrifying elevators and returned to my 5th floor table with my dear friends who always keep me company.

Thank-you, Lindsey and Rebecca, for always humoring me when I ask to take awkward pictures of you at the end of the night (not that you look awkward in this picture!!) I love you guys!!

Thursday 12-16-10

Last time in Davis for this semester! Attempting to study for my last exam did not go very well. I was just mentally done and just did NOT care about studying for drama haha. I did good on the exam, so it's all good. 

Lindsey and Hannah were very kind to put up with my lack of focus and just being ADD in general.

So the reason I got so terribly behind is because exams have started here. Unfortunately, that means some of the coming pics are less than exciting. I spent more time in Davis this past week than I would care to repeat. But, they did try to make the place a little bit cheerier, which is nice.

Lunch and reading in Davis. I know, I'm sorry, way too many pictures of Davis. but just think- take how boring it is for you to read about my life in davis and then multiply that by a bunch and you get how boring it is for me to live in davis- I'm not enjoying this any more than you are. But, I don't have much work this week and no class on Tuesday (YAYYY!!!) and I have some super fun things happening this week that I can't wait to show you!!! no spoilers though!

How many trashcans does a libray need?

(Like I said, a lot of time in Davis. Sorry K) But seriously, how many trashcans are needed in a library? And behind those big blue ones are MORE little brown ones. Glad to see our tuition is going to good use, definitely worth the hike this year so that Davis could buy 50 more trashcans- PER floor!

I have my first research type paper due next week, so I had to go actually use the books in Davis- weird, I know, the books are there for a purpose.  And the paper is about Latin American economics- shoot me now!

A gloomy week on the Hill

This week was a gloomy, rainy week in Chapel Hill. I said on Sunday that I love thunderstorms, well I do, what I don't love is the rainy, cold weather that we've had all week long : (

Saturday 9-25-10

Spent the afternoon studying in the 7th floor lounge of Davis that I was talking about the other day. Isn't it an awesome view? Don't worry, K, I didn't spend all day there. I also babysat and went to dinner, but I did get a nice head start on work. I started a paper that isn't due for 2 whole weeks!! That's amazing isn't it?!?

sidenote- found a great study spot, 7th floor study lounge of Davis overlooking the Upper Quad community and the beautiful hills of Chapel Hill, was almost distracting it was so pretty.
