Rainforesting and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Thursday 11-26-10

Thursday we hiked to the top of the mountain on the island that is covered in a rainforest. It was really beautiful and fun to hike for a couple of hours, but we were all sore the next day. 

There were also a lot of pretty waterfalls and stuff.

I hope that everyone had a great, relaxing thanksgiving with your families!!

Finally!!

Wednesday 11-24-10

Here's the island that we were finally able to go snorkel at on Wednesday. It is a private island. I don't know how in the world you have so much money that you can buy a private island, but it is now on the list of things that Brent wants to own haha.

Monday 11-22-10

We were supposed to go snorkeling, but it was canceled because there was a storm. 

Mom, Dad, Sergio, and K all went to see Old San Juan, but I was sick and Brent was lazy, so we stayed at the condo haha. We watched the Mentalist all day and then when the rest of the fam got back, we played Nerts, which we did all week long. 

Brent cheated, but we caught him and made him play right.

Day 1 on the island

Sunday 10-21-10

This is the beautiful view from the condo that we stayed at. It wasn't beach front or anything, but very close to some really beautiful beaches and right next to where we caught the boat that we took to go snorkeling. 

On Sunday, we found a nice beach and just chilled out. I wasn't feeling very well, so I sat in the shade and read (Harry Potter haha). It's very nice to be able to read something that I want to for a change haha.

Saturday 10-20-10

Since K is back for the holidays for the first time in two years, we decided to go on vacation for Thanksgiving. I even skipped two days worth of classes, whoops!

We got there fairly late on Saturday night, so all I was able to take a picture of was the condo that we stayed in. It was super nice with lots of room to hang out in, which was great, as I will explain later, we needed it.
