So sad

Don't worry, this isn't my birthday pic. I do have one coming, but I have to get it from a friend first. My roomie sent this to me and its just so sad! I'm a nerd and I'm very excited to see the last movies, but its SO sad to think that its really over.

That little red "x" was the bane of my existence today (if that's how the phrase actually goes haha). I attempted to register today. I had 5 classes that I needed to take for my major. I got into 1. After rearranging and picking out a different class, that I need, but wasn't planning on taking, I was able to get into 2 classes (total) and be waitlisted for 1. I'm still trying to get into a geog class (the above picture) that I need and really want to take, but stupid Connect Carolina won't let me. It says that the class is open and then when I try to enroll, it says its full. I've done everything- even e-mailed the professor. I'm very frustrated and stressed. But it will all work out. Even if I have to stalk the professors, I will get in those classes!!!!

And- on a happier note, this is my last night as a teenager!! How am I spending it? Writing a paper and blogging!!!

Birthday dinner, part 1

Sunday 11-7-10

What a wonderful birthday cake! And just enough for 6 people to share. Had my first birthday dinner with my family on Sunday night. My mom and K are going down to Florida tomorrow so that they can be back in time to help with the date night on Friday (have you signed up yet?) and so we had our family dinner yesterday. We love PF Changs. In fact, I've think I've had my birthday dinner there for the past three years. Definitely our favorite place haha.

Shopping!

Saturday 11-6-10

We went birthday shopping at the new Tanger outlets in Mebane. Not all those bags were mine, don't worry. The new outlet was really nice, good stores. Hopefully there will be some better sales and clearance stuff soon! I also bought my first two cardigans, so I'm all set to become the perfect cute elementary school teacher haha.

Parent's Date Night is almost here!!!

Parent's, this Friday you get to leave your little, over-energized, bundles of joy with us for a couple of hours while you and your spouse get to have some much needed alone time.

No hassle- you don't have to worry about your babysitter showing up or wondering if your kids are bored or destroying your house. NONE of that! Cause we've taken care of it all.

You drop your kids off at 6.

Go, do whatever you want, just be back to get them by 9.

We'll take care of everything- we have an awesome night planned. Pizza, movies, games, crafts all sorts of stuff that they'll love.

And they get to be with their friends, too.


AND the best part!

All the money that you would normally pay your babysitter (which would probably be used on shoes) will instead go to building an orphanage in India.

SO, you and your spouse get to hang out without the kids and orphans in India will get a new home.

That sounds just about perfect to me.

Best in the World!!  Went to UNC's first b-ball game of the season, an exhibition game. I'm still working on the whole being into basketball thing haha.

Finally had some yummy krispy kreme with K on Thursday. It was very nice to get to chat in person. I've missed seeing my big sister.
